this to be my summer? Happily living in Boston and pursuing two jobs.  My boyfriend and I are back together, but that is not why I decided to make the move back across the country for this season.

Boulder was getting old really fast.  This past year has been emotionally draining with way too much drama.  I had to escape my house and my life as I knew it… It was definitely time for a change.  I was offered with an amazing opportunity to intern at one of the top PR firms in Boston & at first I took it down, thinking I’d stay in Boulder for the summer, but after some time and actually really regretting it.. I called them back.  They offered me the position back and I told them I would see them at orientation.  The weeks that followed were so hectic.  With little support from my parents about the move, I had to do it all by my self.  I juggled exams, finding a place to live, someone to rent my place for the summer, and finding another part time job all at the same time & still received my best GPA ever.

During the transition, my boyfriend and I began seriously talking again.  We’ve both realized how important we are to eachother & how the roles we each have in our lives are not replaceable.  I am so ecstatic saying that our relationship is now the most positive it has ever been and things have done such a flip for us.  We’ve talked about what went wrong & both intend to never let things go awry again.  Living in the same city together has been so wildly fun so far, I cannot imagine moving back across the country this fall… everything has already gone by so fast, but the best advice I can follow is to stay in the present moment.  That’s the only way to enjoy life to the fullest.

We have an awesome summer ahead, even better than last year.  I love my internship, I love my nannying job, I love my apartment, I love my new friends, I love Boston.  Life is good.
